Raag Sound Healing
An immersive listening experience in a purpose-built acoustic room — two high-fidelity speakers, a recliner chair, and a hand-curated Indian raaga session selected for your time and intention.
Sound That Settles the System
RaagVeda Sound Healing draws from the ancient science of Indian raagas — a tradition that has understood, for centuries, that specific tonal structures create specific inner states. Each raaga has a time of day, an emotional character, and a movement that the listener gradually joins.
In our sessions, you recline in a comfortable chair inside an acoustically treated room. KEF high-fidelity speakers deliver the raaga from both sides — creating a true stereo field that envelops the listener, not just reaches them. There is no ambient noise, no distraction — only the music and the space it opens.
Many people explore sound healing sessions for stress, emotional heaviness, sleep support, focus, relaxation, and a deeper sense of inner calm and balance. We present raag listening as a supportive wellness experience, not a medical treatment.
What to Expect
Before You Arrive
Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Avoid heavy meals in the hour before. Come with nothing urgent planned immediately after — give yourself time to return to the day gradually.
During the Session
You sit or recline in the acoustic room. A raaga is selected for your session based on the time of day and your intention. You simply listen. No effort required. The raaga does what it does — your only role is to be present.
After the Session
Sessions end gradually as the music resolves. You may feel deeply still, emotionally lighter, or simply more aware. There is no required response. Take your time before returning to the day.
"For best results, listen on speakers placed to your left and right when possible."
Our acoustic room is designed exactly for this. Two KEF high-fidelity speakers flank your chair — left and right — creating a natural stereo field. The goal is to experience a gentle stereo immersion that supports a deeper sense of presence with the music. If you use the RaagVeda Sense app at home, the same principle applies: speakers left and right, or headphones.
A Selection of Raagas We Work With
Each raaga carries a specific traditional character and time association. The raaga chosen for your session depends on when you visit and what intention you bring.
Darbari
One of the great night raagas. Slow-moving, weighty, deeply settling. Many listeners experience a profound quieting of mental activity.
Ahir Bhairav
A morning raaga of quiet gravity. Its tones evoke the stillness before sunrise — ideal for beginning a day from a centred, unhurried place.
Bhairavi
Often played as the closing raaga of a concert — marking the space between activity and rest. Soft, releasing, and emotionally open.
Todi
A raaga of quiet seriousness. Its precise inward quality draws attention to the breath and creates still, focused awareness.
Bhagyashree
An evening raaga of gentle softness. Its unhurried quality creates a natural space for body and mind to shift toward rest.
Raaga descriptions reflect traditional cultural associations. They are not medical claims. Sound healing is a supportive wellness offering — it does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical care. Individual experiences vary.
