Directory privacy notice
Effective October 30, 2026. This notice explains the information collected by the singer directory and supplements our Privacy Policy for this feature.
When you register as a singer
We store your performer name, private contact email, city, state or region, country, musical tradition, repertoire, languages, biography, service area, performance link, offered formats, submission and consent dates, and review status. Registration is for adults aged 18 or older.
After review, your profile details and performance link may be published with your consent. Your contact email, consent record, and review metadata are not included in public profiles. Pending and rejected profiles are not published.
When you enquire
We store your name, email, event city or region, requested singer and format, preferred date if provided, and message. RaagVeda uses this information to review your request and coordinate an introduction, and may share your enquiry with the selected singer as you authorise. Enquiries are not public. Submission does not confirm availability or a booking.
Storage and access
Directory records are stored in a private database on our U.S. hosting server outside the public website directory. Administrative access requires sign-in. Hashed connection addresses and hourly attempt counts are used to limit repeated submissions; expired limits are removed on subsequent submissions. Session cookies are used for form security and submission confirmation.
Your choices
Contact raagvedasense@gmail.com to request access, correction, withdrawal of publication permission, or deletion. Singers should write from their registration email so we can verify the request. Directory records are retained while needed to manage a profile or enquiry, or until deletion is requested, subject to any applicable retention obligations. A removed profile may remain temporarily in restricted backups and external search caches.
Performance links lead to external websites with their own privacy practices. We do not embed recordings or take payments through this directory.
